Training for school staff and governors

The Parent Partnership is linked with the Intuition PPIMS organisation. Intuition has a multi-disciplinary staff of teachers, trainers, therapists and consultants and offers training sessions on areas of personal and professional development such as teambuilding, assertiveness training, presentation skills and ICT.

We have a team of trained volunteers who can act as mentors to children who are experiencing difficulties in school. The mentors work in partnership with parents and school staff to help develop the children's confidence, self esteem and motivation to learn.

We run parenting workshops, support groups and courses where parents can get information, receive support, discuss issues and develop strategies for supporting their child's education and development.
