The Parent Partnership is a free independent advice service for parents, pupils and schools. We cover both Ealing and Hammersmith and Fulham.

We provide information and impartial advice on special needs/disabilities and Special Educational Needs assessment & provision.

As well as the support provided by the parent partnership service, parents will also be supported by a range of professionals who are involved with their children, such as the Psychology in Education Service (PES) and the Sensory, Language and Impairment Team (SLIT), who work with staff in schools to also ensure that appropriate support is in place for children with special educational needs.

Our services include:

telephone advice line on statutory assessment process and other educational issues
parenting workshops and courses
information on benefits and grants for children with special needs/disabilities
training for school staff and governors
resource library and information database
disagreement resolution & mediation between schools, parents/carers and the LA
